Ready to deepen your understanding of EMDR therapy? Need help successfully integrating EMDR therapy into your perinatal mental health practice? This consultation group is designed to help you:

• Develop a working understanding of the EMDR therapy approach to psychotherapy

• Understand case conceptualization and treatment planning through an Adaptive Information Processing lens

• Explore cultural variables – including systemic racism – that need to be considered as part of any case conceptualization and treatment plan

• Apply special protocols as appropriate

• Stay up to date on relevant research findings

• Modify the standard protocol to meet the different clinical demands of each client

• Understand adaptations to developmental trauma through an attachment lens

• Examine therapeutic impasses by exploring therapist’s role

• Participate in an in-depth review of EMDR processing through video, audio, and transcripts of sessions
